General info on VR platform

Our success story started in 2002, when EUC Education AB was granted the funding in order to develop an educational standard for the electronics industry. Together with our industry partners, VET centers and human resource companies we have created a group and have achieved a common standard, still used in the market today.

Nowadays, up-to- date and modern technology opens new possibilities for VET schools to easily update the curriculum content and reduce their costs.

Our goal with the VR platform is to achieve the following:

a- to create a tool for VET schools to sustain a modern curriculum and being able to update any content in a simple way, simultaneously reducing the costs;

b- to implement common quality&education standards for different workshops for VET schools all across the EU (since the VR platform can operate in all EU countries);

c- to create a possibility for teachers to establish cross-border cooperation;

d- to establish a modern and attractive learning environment for students;

e- to create a tool for distance and E-learning for students and professionals for courses which were not possible to be realised outside school facilities;

f- to develop a tool for lifelong learning for professionals.

We have already started our work for the first target group in the field of electricity and our goal is to extend the platform and open it up to different target groups.
